Terms and Conditions for Credit Card Payments

We are able to accept payment for goods and services by Credit Card.

Specific Terms and Conditions relating to Credit Card payments are as follows :

• These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

• We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product that is only accepted by us when we send e-mail to you confirming that we've dispatched that product to you. Any products on the same order that we have not confirmed in an e-mail to you as having been dispatched, do not form part of that contract.  There is no contract between us and the customer for an item until we accept the customer order by an email confirming that we have dispatched the item(s).

• Goods are subject to availability. If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you for these goods and we will refund any money already paid for the goods. That the goods are listed as in stock or available at the time of your order is no guarantee that the product is available to buy and is only a guide to the stock status of the product.

• The price for the goods will be as stipulated at the time when you place your order. In the rare case that there is a pricing mistake we reserve the right to cancel or refuse orders for items offered at an incorrect price.

• Each individual order is made bespokely for each individual customer and as such it is not possible to display standardised product specifications or prices on our website. Ahead of accepting an order we will supply a written quotation to each customer which will include a full product specification and your written order to us should make reference to the unique number quoted on each quotation. All prices charged will be as per the quotation.

• Commitments for raw materials etc. will be made to our suppliers immediately we receive your order and therefore any subsequent cancellation of your order may incur charges up to 100% of the value shown on your quotation. The actual amount of any cancellation charges incurred could vary for each individual order and therefore can only be agreed at the time. If you need to cancel an order once it has been placed, please call our office immediately on (01274 738833) to establish any cancellation charges that might be applicable.

• We will endeavor to deliver goods within the times stated but goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outside of our control. Any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods unless caused by our negligence.

• Should delivery be delayed for more than 21 days you have the right to contact us and refuse to accept the goods. In this case we will refund any money paid by you for the goods.

• We offer a 7 working day cooling off period for all goods purchased. If in that period the goods are not fit for purpose, you must return the item(s) in its original packaging and the item(s) must be in the same condition as it was received. 

• We will refund in full any amounts paid if any products supplied are defective in any way or do not conform to the agreed specifications stated in your written quotation.

• As soon as we have delivered the goods you will be responsible for them. If you delay accepting a delivery, our responsibility for everything other than damage due to our negligence will end on the date the carrier tried to deliver the goods to you.

• You must inspect the goods upon delivery and report any fault, including missing items within 48 hours of receipt.

• All returns must be authorised. Goods returned without prior authorisation will be refused.

• Faulty products should be returned with a print sample if appropriate to the fault.

• Accidental damage, neglect or misuse of items will not be acceptable for return.

• Incorrectly ordered products cannot be returned if the box and/or seal have been opened.

• You shall pay any carriage costs involved for the return where the goods supplied are as requested and are not faulty.

• We do not promise that any product will last for a pre-determined amount of time or page length and will not be acceptable for return under this reason.

• We will refund in full any amounts paid if any products supplied are defective in any way or do not conform to the agreed specifications stated in your written quotation. Refunds will be made by the same method of payment.

• We will not be liable for any damages or injuries resulting from use of any products supplied by us.

• In no event shall we be liable for any special, incidental, indirect or consequential damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business information, or any other pecuniary loss) arising out of the use of the information made available on this web site.

• All goods shall remain the property of The Water Mill Press Ltd. until paid for in full.

• The Contract between us shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.

•  We endeavor to try to resolve disputes when they first arise. If you have a complaint then please contact us.

• We do not retain or store any financial information relating to Credit Card payments nor will we ever use any such information for marketing purposes. We never disclose any information obtained from customers to third parties.
